The event was blast for all of us!  And, it was awesome to see more than ten past presidents support us!

Oh, we had some awesome food as well!

Gilbert Toastmasters Club is a Non Profit Organization helping members become better Leaders, Speakers, Listeners and Thinkers.
Our theme for our August 29th meeting was "Is it t Our theme for our August 29th meeting was "Is it true that? tell a true or made up story" - It's TRUE that we had some amazing speakers and here are the awards to prove it! • Eunice stepped in at the last minute to fill in as the Toastmaster and she did an incredible job, earning her the Vicki Treciak Spirit Award. It was also her first time as Toastmaster for the evening. Congrats Eunice, you did amazing! • Jon is back at Gilbert Toastmasters and gave us an incredible table topics speech on his favorite holiday which turned out to be his brother's birthday. The comedy and cleverness of his table topics speech earned Jon the Best Table Topics Award! Great job, Jon! • Nishanth always brings thoughtful insight and energy to every speech and his evaluation this week was no exception. He provided valuable feedback to the entire audience, earning him the award for best Evaluator! Keep up the great work, Nishanth! • David B gave his first Ice Breaker speech and completely wow'd the crowd with his incredible speech craft and delivery. He commanded the stage and earned his Toastmasters pin while also taking home the Best Speech award! Are you interested in practicing your public speaking? The theme of the night was "Tooth Fairy Day" 👏 Vicki Treciak Spirit Award: Dave - You really "brushed" up on your enthusiasm and energy, showing up to every meeting with a sparkling attitude. Your willingness to step in as a last minute evaluator truly embodies the Vicki Treciak spirit. 👏 Best Table Topics: Elle - Your table topic speech was kept "filling" us with humor and delivery, we couldn’t help but smile. Your ability to think on your feet and provide engaging impromptu speeches is always as magical as fairy dust! Fantastic job! 👏 Best Evaluator: Dave - Your insightful feedback and constructive criticism are as valuable as a shiny new molar. Thank you for showing us how to give another meaningful evaluation and helping us all to brush up on our skills. 👏 Best Speech: David G - Your words moved us, inspired us, and left a lasting impression. Your passion and storytelling abilities are already taking shape as you gave us a very memorable Ice Breaker Speech! We are very excited to watch you grow on your Toastmasters journey. Congratulations to the amazing winners from our Au Congratulations to the amazing winners from our August 15th meeting. Our theme for the night was "National Relaxation Day" 👏 Vicki Treciak Spirit Award: Vincent - Vincent received the spirit award for his unwavering dedication to making sure that everyone has an awesome experience at every meeting. Vincent shows up early to help stage the room and even assists in setting up our A/V equipment. There is literally nothing he can't do! Thanks Vincent for being such a great example of servant leadership. 👏 Best Table Topics: Vincent - Two awards in one night!!! Congrats to Vincent for also winning the best table topics award for the night. His ability to think on his feet and deliver an impromptu speech makes him a fantastic toastmaster! Congrats! 👏 Best Evaluator: Damian - It was his first evaluation and he brought insightful feedback and constructive criticism that helped us all grow as speakers. Congrats on your first of many evaluation awards! 👏 Best Speech: Ishan - He delivered a really intriguing speech on AI that not only included great content but also a wonderful slide presentation as well. It was educational and your efforts towards honing your stage presence and speaking skills shined through! Great work on taking home the Best Speech Award!!
