Gilbert Toastmasters has received the President’s Distinguished Club award, yet again!
This is the highest of three awards given by Toastmasters International to recognise and reward clubs that consistently maintain a high standard of excellence. This standard is measured as a series of 10 goals that clubs must strive to achieve each year. The more goals achieved, the higher the award. This is known as the Distinguished Club Program or DCP for short.
At Gilbert Toastmasters, we’ve proudly achieved this award since the inception of the DCP program (about twenty years ago). Many volunteers help to achieve this award but it is our members that actually make it happen by working toward speaking and leadership goals.
